The Honourable Susan Crennan, AC QC (b. 1945) is a barrister and former High Court judge and the first woman to serve as president of the Australian Bar Association. She was a Commissioner for Human Rights for six years from 1992. Sitting on the High Court from 2005 to 2010, she is acknowledged as a leader and mentor in the legal profession, notable for her contributions to constitutional law, arbitration and law reform and her membership of many boards and foundations.
